I always argue that there is a difference between travel and vacation. To me, travel is when I set out to go on an adventure, and vacation is when I go somewhere to relax and do absolutely nothing. I consider myself a “travel” traveller but more and more I realize I can get the best of both worlds. So lately in my travels, I make it a point to set aside some time for “vacation”. I found the perfect beach in Uluwatu to have just that. Away from the crowds, I think the pristine white beaches at the Southern most tip of the island are a good choice and some of the best that Bali offers. Think sun, white sand, big umbrellas, large bean bags lined up on the beach, with the wind from the sea lightly kissing your face, and cocktail in hand, while being waited on for what witty named concoction from that bar you will be ordering next. This was how I spent the day at Finn’s Beach club in Semara, Uluwatu. With nothing much to do, and some extra time on hand, the hubby and I decided to play with the camera and did a little pictorial by the beach. We both pretend to know something about photography and are always amazed when people compliment our travel photos.
